Forest Bathing, a practice supported by scientific research, offers a unique opportunity to reconnect both with the natural world and with oneself.
Engaging in Forest Bathing brings a range of benefits, supporting personal health and wellbeing, and in turn contributing to the wellbeing of our planet and all its inhabitants.
A guided Forest Bathing Session involves
Gentle Movement: gentle simple physical exercises to ease the body and mind into the natural environment
Mindfulness: techniques to help individuals to become aware of their surroundings and experiences
Slow Silent Walking: allowing for a deeper sensory experience and connection with Nature
and 'Invitations' to:
Stillness: periods of quiet stillness for reflection and absorption of the woodland's atmosphere
Share: an opportunity to share insights, feelings and experiences
and more: additional elements aimed to enhance the participants sense of connection and wellbeing
*A percentage of the fee is donated to The Porch Project, by request from the woodland's owner.
** Planned work and weather may affect access to and routes within the woodland, this is why all necessary details, including directions, will be provided in the final confirmation & reminder email approximately 3 days before the start of the session.
