About the Classes

When you join a class, you can learn and embody the following health-enhancing principles:

  • Breath work – effective breathing to help calm the mind and foster relaxation.

  • Safe and nourishing postural movement – gentle and flowing forms designed to improve flexibility, strength, and support physical wellbeing.

  • Emotional and mental balance and resiliency – mindfulness and meditative techniques to reduce anxiety and promote emotional stability.

The classes are small, friendly, interactive, and very often entertaining and amusing, ensuring an enjoyable and supportive learning experience.

A £1 of the class fee is donated to the King George's Playing Field "New Pavilion Fund"


The Venue

Raydon, Suffolk

Classes are held either in the Pavilion or the outdoor space, depending on weather conditions.

The Pavilion is a carpeted multi-function room and there are gents, ladies and disabled toilets

The Venue

Burstall, Suffolk

Burstall Village Hall, Church Hill, Burstall, Suffolk. IP8 3DR

Classes are held either in the Hall or the outdoor space, depending on weather conditions.

The Hall is a wooden floored multi-function room and there are gents, ladies and disabled toilets

Parking along the road in front of the hall.

Please do not obstruct access to the residents properties along the road. If required there is an alternative parking area should it be required and you will be advised before the class starts.

Classes are held in the hall, which is accessed via double doors to the rear of the Church.

The hall has a wooden floor and there are gents, ladies and disabled toilets.

Some parking is in the front of the church or to the rear of the church via Days Road & Days Green

Forest Bathing

There is nothing comparable to the experience of walking slowly and mindfully through woodland allowing oneself to sense, feel and observe the extraordinary healing powers of Nature.

Forest Bathing, a practice supported by scientific research, offers a unique opportunity to reconnect both with the natural world and with oneself.

Engaging in Forest Bathing brings a range of benefits, supporting personal health and wellbeing, and in turn contributing to the wellbeing of our planet and all its inhabitants.

A guided Forest Bathing Session involves

  • Gentle Movement: gentle simple physical exercises to ease the body and mind into the natural environment

  • Mindfulness: techniques to help individuals to become aware of their surroundings and experiences

  • Slow Silent Walking: allowing for a deeper sensory experience and connection with Nature

and 'Invitations' to:

  • Stillness: periods of quiet stillness for reflection and absorption of the woodland's atmosphere

  • Share: an opportunity to share insights, feelings and experiences

  • and more: additional elements aimed to enhance the participants sense of connection and wellbeing

*A percentage of the fee is donated to The Porch Project, by request from the woodland's owner.

** Planned work and weather may affect access to and routes within the woodland, this is why all necessary details, including directions, will be provided in the final confirmation & reminder email approximately 3 days before the start of the session.

QiGong Taster

What is a QiGong Taster?

  • Tasters are short follow-along-style sessions to introduce QiGong to the community.

  • Each session is 45-mins long - normally in a run of 6 weekly sessions

  • £8 per person per session - all proceeds go to the venue's nominated fund

Booking is required online

If the Tasters are well received, weekly classes will be scheduled
